Question of the Day

So, I was reading another's blog and stole this question. I stole it to post here mostly because I am very curious what the rest of the world's answer is.

Why do I get so hungry at work during the day, when at home I can go the entire day and simply forget to eat?

So that is my question for the day. What are your thoughts? It is definately true of me.

I think it has something to do with the fact that you are looking for legitimate distractions at work. What do you want to be distracted from at home?

I think the flouresent glow of the office lighting causes a chemical need to stuff you belly full of all the crap you can eat. ding-ding!

hA!

So true, so true. I think it's a combination of a need for distractions and the lights...i actually had a balast (sp?) replaced over my desk, and "let there be light!" it's so bright again. And my stomach is grumbling...

I think you could add healthy snacks, like apples, apple sauce, etc. to your desk drawer so that you have something to snack on that is not pure sugar.

I disagree... there is nothing wrong with eating straight sugar. Why just five minutes ago, I took 1/2 c. of white sugar, mixed it with 1/2c. of brown sugar added 2 cups of pure maple syrup and had it for my snack... also,I was not at work. So either you are ALL wrong or I am just a "healthy" eater. Ha ha! I love you Kel!
